Hand-dipping beeswax candles in a traditional workshop

Pure Beeswax, Handcrafted

The Craft of Candle Making

For centuries, beeswax candles have illuminated sacred spaces and humble homes alike. We continue this tradition with care and reverence.

Light as Nature Intended

There is something primal about the warm glow of a beeswax candle. Unlike paraffin or synthetic alternatives, beeswax burns with a pure, bright flame that has graced human spaces for millennia. Each candle we create carries within it the work of countless bees, the nectar of a thousand flowers, and the craftsmanship of hands guided by tradition.

Our Process

01

Harvesting the Wax

We carefully harvest beeswax cappings during the honey extraction process. This golden wax is the purest form, created by the bees to seal their precious honey stores.

02

Rendering & Purifying

The raw wax is gently melted and filtered multiple times to remove any impurities while preserving its natural honey scent and golden colour.

03

Traditional Crafting

Using methods passed down through generations, we hand-dip, roll, or mould each candle with care and attention to detail.

04

Natural Finishing

Each candle is inspected, trimmed, and finished by hand. No artificial scents or dyes are ever added — just pure beeswax as nature intended.

Craftsmanship

A Labour of Love

Each candle that leaves our workshop represents hours of careful work. From the patient process of rendering pure wax to the meditative rhythm of hand-dipping, candle making is a craft that cannot be rushed. We take pride in every imperfect drip and unique variation — these are the marks of something made by human hands, not machines.

Why Beeswax?

Nature's Perfect Candle

Clean Burning

Beeswax candles produce virtually no soot and emit negative ions that help purify the air.

Natural Fragrance

The subtle honey scent comes naturally from the wax itself — no artificial fragrances needed.

Long Lasting

Beeswax has a higher melting point than other waxes, meaning our candles burn longer and brighter.

Sustainable

A renewable resource produced by our own hives, supporting both bees and local ecosystems.

Our Collection

Traditional Candle Styles

Hand-Dipped Tapers

The classic candle form, made by repeatedly dipping wicks into molten wax. Each pair is unique, with subtle variations that speak to their handmade origin.

Rolled Candles

Created from sheets of honeycomb-textured beeswax, carefully rolled around a cotton wick. The distinctive pattern catches and reflects the light beautifully.

Moulded Pillars

Poured into traditional moulds to create substantial pillar candles. Perfect for long, atmospheric evenings and meditative moments.
